The Conjuring spin-off about The Nun gets Corin Hardy to direct

The Conjuring has already had a spin-off with the creepy doll, Annabelle (the sequel to that is due out in August), but The Nun is now moving ahead at New Line.

Director Corin Hardy (The Hallow) is helming the second spinoff, which is written by Gary Dauberman and James Wan, and produced by Wan and Peter Safran.

There are no plot details as yet, but I am sure it delve into the history and other appearances of the demonic Nun.

Hardy has also been attached to direct the remake of The Crow, but as that seems to be in a perpetual state of development hell, I think we will be seeing The Nun before that one.

The Conjuring cinematic universe has made over $897 million worldwide, so I think we will continue to see many more films within and around the series.
