Wes Anderson officially announces his new animated movie, Isle of Dogs


As you can see in the video below, Wes Anderson (Fantastic Mr Fox, The Grand Budapest Hotel) has officially announced his new film, an animated movie called Isle of Dogs

The film will be produced in England and feature the voices of Bill Murray, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Scarlett Johansson, Greta Gerwig, Jeff Goldblum, F. Murray Abraham, Harvey Keitel, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Courtney B. Vance, Yoko Ono, and Edward Norton.

They will be playing a pack of dogs in the Japanese inspired story.

Norton also pops up in the video and we get a look at his character – a dog called Rex.

Anderson also mentions that if you donate money over at Crowdrise you can win a chance to voice one of the dogs.

The money goes to the Film Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Martin Scorsese dedicated to protecting and preserving motion picture history.
