Here are the Star Wars Rebels Easter Eggs in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Many of you will have seen Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. You can read our reviews here and here.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

More Rogue One Coverage
There were many references to the previous films in Rogue One, but also quite a few to the Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels animated series. Forest Whitaker’s Saw Gerrera first appeared in Clone Wars and he is going to show up on Rebels.

Dave Filoni, Executive Producer of Star Wars Rebels, has also said there could be a chance we eventually see the events of Rogue One on Star Wars Rebels.

I already have some theories about the story behind it. I can imagine doing that entire [Scarif] battle from their point of view, whoever is on the Ghost at that point

However, there were also a few appearances and mentions of characters from Star Wars Rebels in Rogue One. We heard General Syndulla being called over the PA on Yavin 4, that would be Hera Syndulla, Captain of the Ghost. Disney have released these screenshots which show the Ghost (the spacecraft from Star Wars Rebels, which you can see in the image above) along with the droid Chopper.

You can see the Ghost in the bottom left, along with the Hammerhead Frigate which also debuted in Star Wars Rebels.

The Ghost is in the top left of the picture below.

Chopper is the droid on the left of this image.
