"No matter where you go, there you are."

Ryan Reynolds & Jake Gyllenhaal head to space for the Life trailer

Take a bit of Gravity and throw in some Alien and you get the trailer for Life. It’s got a great cast, the story is intriguing and the effects look spot on so looks like it could be a winner. Although I do wonder when scientists are going to learn not to stick their fingers near the newly discovered alien life form!

Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.

Daniel Espinosa (Safe House) directs the film, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare, and Olga Dihovichnaya.

The screenplay was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick who wrote Zombieland and Deadpool.

We have been sent the new trailer and you can watch it below.

In cinemas May 2017.
