Arrival is an adaptation of Ted Chiang’s short story, Story of Your Life, and there are some new posters and images from the film.

The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve. It stars Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker.

When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team, lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams), is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.

Hillary saw the film at this years Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and said, “After a summer of loud, intrusive super hero blockbusters, it’s a welcome change to be able to open your mind to something challenging at the theatre.  Arrival asks you to question what makes us human, how grief and time play into our very existence.”
