Bad Boys 3 gets a new title and release date

“We ride together, we die together, bad boys for life.”

The third Bad Boys film will see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return as Detectives Burnett and Lowery. Michael Bay won’t be behind the camera, instead we are getting Joe Carnahan (The Grey, The A-Team, Stretch) who should do an excellent job with it.

The new film is official called Bad Boys For Life according to EW, and it has a release date of 12th January 2018. It appears that this won’t be the last we see of them as Bad Boys 4 is currently dated for July 3, 2019.

There is no word on the plot at the moment, but it is rumoured to have Detective Mike Lowrey (Smith) now married with kids, much like his partner Marcus Burnett (Lawrence).

Jerry Bruckheimer is expected to return as a producer, with a screenplay by David Guggenheim (Safe House).
