Looks like we may be getting Ghost Rider in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4

Ghost-Rider

A while pack I shared a promotional image for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4. It showed a fiery chain which could have hinted at Ghost Rider, but many thought it was for the Inhuman known as Hellfire.

However, some new casting news seems to move closer to Ghost Rider again. TVLine had the news:

LMDs are happening. Specifically, the ABC series at this time is looking to cast the recurring role of Aida, a “very attractive” robot (because after all, why make a homely one?) who moves about quite naturally but speaks a bit formally, like Iron Man’s Jarvis. Also to be introduced in Season 4: a pair of Latino brothers, one of whom is always the most dangerous person in the room, the other paralyzed in a wheelchair.

How about that then? Okay, I know some of you may be asking how does that equate to the fiery headed Spirit of Vengeance? We need to look at the pair of Latino brothers and move past the classic motorbike driving Ghost Rider and instead look at his most recent incarnation – Robbie Reyes. He was created by writer/artist Felipe Smith and designed by Felipe Smith and artist Tradd Moore.

He is a new Mexican-American character and drives a black classic muscle car reminiscent of a Dodge Charger instead of a motorcycle and lives in East Los Angeles.

Robbie is a high-school student working at an auto body shop who lives with his disabled brother, Gabe, and seeks to get away from the dangerous, gang-riddled streets of East Los Angeles.

So the brothers in Season 4 do seem to be similar to Robbie and Gabe. Of course we will have to wait and see, but I really would love to see Ghost Rider on TV. I had been hoping he would get his own Netflix series, but I will take Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for now.
