Deadpool’s Brianna Hildebrand & X-Men’s Alexandra Shipp to star in Tragedy Girls







Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool) and Alexandra Shipp (X-Men: Apocalypse) are teaming up for a new horror comedy called Tragedy Girls.
The story follows two death-obsessed teenage girls who use their online show about real-life tragedies to send their small Midwestern town into a frenzy and cement their legacy as modern horror legends.
Tyler MacIntyre will direct (you can read an interview with Tyler here). MacIntyre co-wrote the script with Chris Hill. Craig Robinson (The Office, This Is The End, Hot Tub Time Machine) will also star.
MacIntyre and Hill previously wrote the horror comedy Patchwork together, which MacIntyre also directed. The film won Best Picture at Screamfest in 2015. MacIntyre’s also has several previous credits as an editor, including numerous TV movies for Lifetime and Hallmark like A Gift Wrapped Christmas and For Better or For Worse.
