After 12 years of absence, Louis (Gaspard Ulliel), a writer, goes back to his hometown, planning on announcing his upcoming death to his family. As resentment soon rewrites the course of the afternoon, fits and feuds unfold, fuelled by loneliness and doubt, while all attempts of empathy are sabotaged by people’s incapacity to listen and love.

Directed by Xavier Dolan (Mommy, Laurence Anyways), It’s Only The End of the World (Juste la fin du monde) stars Gaspard Ulliel, Vincent Cassel, Marion Cotillard, Lea Seydoux, and Nathalie Baye.

Based on a 1990 play by French playwright Jean-Luc Lagarce, the film won the Grand Jury Prize and the Ecumenical Award at this years Cannes Film Festival. The film hits Quebec and France on 21st September 2016.
