Man vs Snake – New trailer for the Nibbler documentary

Man vs Snake is a documentary feature film the quest for the highest video game score of all time.

In 1984, 16 year-old Timothy McVey (not to be confused with Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City Bomber) walked into the legendary Twin Galaxies arcade in Ottumwa Iowa; 44 ½ hours later he had recorded the highest score in video game history — on a single quarter. For 25 years, Tim’s record stood as the highest verified video game score of the “Golden Age” of video games, or so he thought.

Along the way, we meet players from Canada, Italy and Japan all with a connection to the video game Nibbler and all with interesting lives and aspirations of their own.

The documentary features intimate interviews with the players, days-long back-breaking marathon attempts and unique archival footage from the 1980s.

It also has the return of Billy Mitchell from King of Kong.
