Transformers: The Last Knight will once again be directed by Michael Bay. He has released this new teaser and states that, to the surprise of no-one, Megatron is back!

The cast has Mark Wahlberg returning to the role of Cade Yeager. Josh Duhamel is also returning to the world of Transformers as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox. They will be joined by Isabela Monerand Jerrod Carmichael.

Production on Transformers: The Last Knight is set to begin on 6th June in Detroit with production planned to take place at various locations around the world. The film is due out on 23rd June 2017.

“Having one of the highest-profile film franchises created in Michigan is a major economic boost and a testament to the talent of the state’s production community,” said Jenell Leonard, commissioner of the Michigan Film & Digital Media Office when production plans were first revealed. “The production and economic investment is now happening sooner rather than later, and obviously, the project is a certainty rather than merely a possibility.”

Michael Bay returns to the direct. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy and Tom DeSanto will produce the sequel.

It's starting. This week production. Megatron is back. #transformers #decepticons#
