Michelle and Barack Obama go on their first date in the Southside With You trailer

John Legend has shared the first trailer for Southside With You.

Written and directed by Richard Tanne, the film stars Tika Sumpter and Parker Sawyers as Michelle Robinson and Barack Obama.

The film chronicles the summer 1989 afternoon when the future President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, wooed his future First Lady on an epic first date across Chicago’s South Side.
