The Battle Angel Alita movie has got 3 contenders for the lead role

James Cameron has been working on bringing the manga by Yukito Kishiro to the big screen for a long time. He was going to direct, but will now produce Alita: Battle Angel.
Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, From Dusk Till Dawn) will be sitting in the directors chair.
Set in the 26th century, ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL tells the story of Alita, an amnesiac female cyborg who is rescued from a scrapyard by a doctor. The rebuilt Alita, remembering only her training in a deadly martial art, becomes a hunter-warrior, tracking down and eliminating vicious criminals. Within the context of an epic action-adventure, the film will explore a young woman’s journey of self-discovery and finding love.
Things had been quiet, but now THR are reporting that there are three actresses up for the lead role.
Maika Monroe (It Follows,Independence Day: Resurgence), Rosa Salazar (Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, CHiPs), and Zendaya (K.C. Undercover, Spider-Man: Homecoming). Bella Thorne, who starred with Zendaya on the TV series Shake It Up and appeared in Alvin & the Chipmunks: Road Chip, also tested, say sources.
To be honest I am not sure which of the final three I would choose for the role. Any thoughts?
The movie has not been greenlighted as budgetary issues are still being worked out while the studio seeks to bring it down from the $175 million-$200 million range.
