The Ring vs The Grudge gets a new trailer

Kadokawa and NBCUniversal Japan are partnering to make Sadako vs Kayako.

It features the vengeful female ghosts of The Ring (Sadako) and The Grudge (Kayako).

A girl (Mizuki Yamamoto) after watching a cursed videotape together with her friend (Tina Tamashiro) in a haunted house, becomes trapped in a conflict between the two murderous ghosts: Sadako Yamamura (from the “Ringu” films) and Kayako Saeki (from the “Ju-On” films).

Koji Shiraishi (Grotesque) is currently directing the film, which stars Mizuki Yamamoto and it is set for release in June 2016.
