"No matter where you go, there you are."

The new Spider-Man film gets a title and logo

It is not long until we get to see Tom Holland as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War and I am so glad Marvel and Sony worked something out so this could happen.

Sony Pictures are still working on a solo Spidey film. We have to wait until July 2017 for that, but it seems that other characters from Marvel Studios will pop up in the film.

However, we know a little bit more as the film will be called Spider-Man Homecoming. A nice fit as the character is now back with many of the other Marvel movie characters.

Tom Holland made the announcement at CineCon 2016. “It really is a homecoming,” Holland told the crowd, “because, throughout the movie, Peter is trying to find out who he is and where he belongs in this world.”

Just as long as they don’t give us another origin story I will be more than happy.

The Marvel presentation also featured a clip from Captain America: Civil War (Spoilers ahead):

In the clip, Peter Parker comes home to find Tony sitting on the couch with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei). Parker is surprised to see the famous billionaire playboy superhero sitting in living room and can only nod as Tony winks at him, clearly aware of his secret identity. Helping hide that secret from May (about whom Tony jokes, “It’s hard to believe she’s anyone’s aunt”), Stark pretends that Peter applied for a special program with Stark Industries and has been selected.
