There is a little Princess Bride reunion going on in Being Charlie as Rob Reiner directed Cary Elwes in the 1987 movie. However, Reiner’s latest film is a different beast and is a fictionalised account of Rob’s son Nick Reiner and his experiences with drug addiction and rehab. Nick wrote the film with Matt Elisofon.

Charlie is a troublesome 18-year-old who breaks out of a youth drug treatment clinic, but when he returns home to Los Angeles, he’s given an intervention by his parents and forced to go to an adult rehab. There, he meets a beautiful but troubled girl, Eva, and is forced to battle with drugs, elusive love and divided parents.

The film stars Nick Robinson, Cary Elwes, Common, Morgan Saylor, Susan Misner, Devon Bostick and is due out in May 2016.

It looks like Nick Robinson (Jurassic World) is doing an incredible performance in this one.
