Ezra Miller talks about playing the big screen Flash

Grant Gustin is doing a great job as The Flash on The CW show, but it will be Ezra Miller (We Need To Talk About Kevin) who will be playing him on the big screen. I wasn’t sure about Miller’s casting, but this recent interview he did with MTV shows he is a big comic book fan and he loves The Flash, especially Gustin’s version of the character.
First he spoke about the character:
Barry Allen is the hero of the Silver Age who follows a lot of really interesting discoveries in physics. Where he comes from is where we figured out the Event Horizon was there, and he was the character who was created through our mythos machine of comic books to break that Event Horizon, so you could explore in fantasy… I think that’s an interesting idea. And, what’s an interesting idea to me is, ‘What the f**k does that do to someone?
[/quote] Then he moved on to the TV show. The multiverse is big in the DC comic book universe and it has been touched on with The Flash TV show, so it will be interesting to see if the TV and cinematic universes ever crossover.
The Flash solo movie is set for release March 23, 2018.
The Flash returns to CW on 6th October.
