Take a deeper look at HBO’s Watchmen in the new featurette

Set in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN, from executive producer Damon Lindelof (“Lost”; HBO’s “The Leftovers”) embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name, while attempting to break new ground of its own. Nicole Kassell directs the pilot from a script written by Lindelof.

This new featurette gives us a look at the basic set-up for the new series.

The show stars Regina King (American Crime, The Leftovers), Don Johnson (Book Club, Django Unchained), Tim Blake Nelson (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), Louis Gossett Jr. (An Officer and a Gentleman, The Reason), Adelaide Clemens (Rectify, Parade’s End), Andrew Howard (The Oath, The Brave), Frances Fisher(Masters of Sex), Jacob Ming-Trent (White Famous), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Handmaid’s Tale), Sara Vickers(The Crown), and Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow).

WATCHMEN premieres SUNDAY, OCT. 20 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.
