After surviving a near-fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.

The film sees Ryan Reynolds return as Deadpool. He will be joined by Josh Brolin as Cable, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus and Zazie Beetz as Domino. Jack Kesy (The Strain, Baywatch) is attached to play the film’s central villain, which could be Irish mutant Black Tom Cassidy. Shioli Kutsuna and Julian Dennison (Hunt for the Wilderpeople) have also joined the film in mystery roles.

John Wick‘s David Leitch is directing the 20th Century Fox follow-up from a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

The film is due out in the UK on 16th May 2018.

As you can see from the trailer it appears that Terry Crews (The Expendables, Brooklyn Nine-Nine) is also in the film. I had no idea he was in it, but he could well be playing G.W. Bridge. That character was part of a team that Deadpool was part of called The Six Pack. The team also included Domino and she is also in the image below on the left.

Is the character standing between Domino and Deadpool meant to be the Wade Wilson that Reynolds played in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, as he does seem to have some of the same lines around the eyes and his mouth, is covered? Could we eventually see the Deadpool Corps? However, it could also be Zeitgeist from Peter Milligan and Mike Allred’s X-Force.

The character between Deadpool and Terry Crews appears to be Shatterstar.
